What you'll do... Position: Staff Product Manager Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716 Duties: Explores new focus areas/unchartered areas for value creation leveraging first principles and develops a long-term vision. Articulates problem statements and hypotheses. Guides team members towards prototypes. Effectively communicates product strategy and vision and the unit economics of a product. Understand the need for "Go-to-Market" strategies and levers for user adoption. Product Vision and Strategy: Problem formulation and solutioning; Hypothesis framing; Business strategies; Customer segments and needs. Monitors, collects, and structures data and evaluates result. Supports the identification and application of tools and techniques. Assists in the planning, design, and implementation exploratory data analysis. Data Driven Product Decisions: Product and feature analytics; Data analysis tools and techniques; Research for analysis activities; Documentation procedures (for example, data logs); Modern industry practices and emerging trends. Independently (or with minimal guidance) conducts activities for product/feature analytics with an understanding of simple trends/insights. Compares the maturity of products, services, and processes across subdomains with others in the industry. Recommends new processes, automation opportunities, and ways of working for subdomains. In-Depth Domain Knowledge: Domain-specific methodologies, tools, and processes; Domain-specific products; Domain specific best practices; Domain-specific market standards in product/platform architecture to demonstrate awareness of various principles, ways of working, and subdomain specific terminologies across multiple subdomains within a domain. Technology Orientation: Competitive technology landscapes; Existing portfolio of enterprise systems, technologies, services, and architecture; Common PaaS and IaaS technologies and environments; Software quality assurance methodologies, tools, processes, and checkpoints; Emerging technology and industry trends; Product and technology innovation. Product Roadmap and Development: Product roadmap development techniques; Roadmap presentation; Roadmap features and items; Project management techniques; Modern business practice (for example, Agile methodologies, Scrum); Minimum Viable Product(MVP) creation; Product development lifecycles; Product development concepts (for example, "Crossing the Chasm") Explores alternative avenues to identify resources while navigating through organizational constraints and dependencies. Guides product/feature rollouts and scaling (using an MVP approach) and iteratively optimizes the product. Driving Customer/ Client Needs: Customer and business problems; Design thinking; Dependencies and impacts on product processes/ways of working; Journey mapping; Process optimization; Communication and influencing techniques. To research and verify customer needs and expectations. Delivers customer value within the parameters of profitability and other targets. Builds and maintains consistent customer connections and solicits customer feedback. Creates customer journeys and identifies customer touchpoints. Addresses gaps/risks in product experiences. Simplifies and improves processes to drive customer satisfaction. Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 7 years of experience in product management or a related field; OR Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in product management or a related field. Skills Required: Must have experience with: Managing software product strategy and solutions for identified business problems, including Warehouse Management, Inventory and Retail domain Systems for end-end Supply Chain; Conducting case studies, assessments and defining objectives/ key performance indicators for technology product solutions; Developing and enhancing software products by managing technology product roadmaps aligned to short- and long-term strategy, including software product builds for the retail business domain on Forward and Reverse logistics supporting Fulfillment and Returns network operations; Gathering and documenting business requirements through user interviews, workshops, joint application development sessions other elicitation methods; Analyzing customer and systems interaction to define end-to-end data flows through the technology product, for data mapping needs, data analytics and translate appropriately for visualization; Prioritizing business requirements and technology product backlogs for systems development; Providing user experience feedback and screen flow guidelines to develop user interfaces for technology products and applications; Performing user acceptance testing and managing rollout of prioritized features for software products – new application builds as well as system enhancements; Communicating software product development status updates and rollout plans to stakeholders; Measuring software product results against key performance indicators to define requirements for improvements and upgrades; Requirements Management Tools: JIRA; Confluence; Leankit Visualization/ Flow diagram Tools: Visio, Figma, Proto.io, Databases and Tools: Informix DB; Oracle DB; DBeaver; Postman, Software: Java; XML; .NET, Angular JS, Mobile Apps; Mainframes systems.
