How this is calculated
Every figure is computed from Product Manager roles that were live on Land Better Jobs on 2026-09-12 and published an annual salary range. Nothing is modelled, estimated, or carried over from a previous year.
We report medians rather than averages, because a handful of very senior roles pulls an average upward and makes it unrepresentative of what most postings actually offer. Postings without disclosed pay are excluded entirely rather than filled in with a guess. Hourly and contract postings are excluded, and ranges outside $40k–$600k are dropped as data errors.
These are advertised base ranges. They do not include equity, bonus, or benefits, which at larger technology companies can add substantially to total compensation. A cut with fewer than 20 postings is marked small sample — treat those as indicative, not definitive.
