Role Description:
The Product Manager will lead product strategy and execution for the AI-enabled DAG capability, working directly with the Government Product Owner and DAG stakeholders to translate mission needs into a prioritized, executable backlog. The Product Manager will facilitate discovery and framing, define mission threads and measurable outcomes, and continuously refine priorities based on user feedback, operational performance, and emerging requirements.
The Product Manager will coordinate across the AI, software, data, security, and UX team members to ensure that capabilities are delivered incrementally, integrated into the sponsor’s operating environment, and sustained and enhanced in production. The role will ensure that technical development remains aligned with mission outcomes while balancing user needs, security requirements, technical debt, platform reuse, and fixed team capacity.
Technical / Professional Skills:
Product management for software, AI/ML, or data-intensive systems
Agile product development and backlog management
User story and acceptance-criteria development
Discovery, requirements elicitation, and mission/workflow analysis
Product roadmapping and incremental delivery
Understanding of AI/ML capabilities and limitations
Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and AI-enabled workflows
Understanding of software development and DevSecOps practices
Ability to translate operational problems into technical requirements
Strong stakeholder communication and briefing skills
Experience managing competing priorities within fixed capacity
Salary Range: $148,000 - $333,000
