About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager, Customer Solutions based in the United States. The Senior Technical Product Manager, Customer Solutions will play a pivotal role in bringing AI-powered products into customers' existing technology ecosystems, particularly within healthcare staffing and workforce compliance. This position bridges product strategy, technical integration, and customer engagement, translating complex business workflows into scalable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, customer success, implementation teams, and external partners to design and deliver integrations that meet real-world customer needs. From API architecture and data mapping to troubleshooting and deployment, you will take ownership of customer solutions from initial discovery through successful implementation. As part of a small, autonomous team, you will have the opportunity to influence how emerging AI capabilities are adopted while transforming recurring integration challenges into standardized product features. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically skilled, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys solving complex problems with measurable business impact. \n Accountabilities AI Product Deployment: Lead the technical integration and activation of AI-powered products within customer environments, collaborating with product teams to identify necessary API enhancements, partner integrations, and implementation requirements. Customer Technical Consultation: Serve as the technical expert during customer and prospect conversations involving custom workflows, non-standard use cases, troubleshooting, and potential API capabilities beyond standard product offerings. Integration Architecture and Design: Design end-to-end integration solutions that connect products with customer systems, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), vendor management systems (VMS), human capital management (HCM) platforms, human resources information systems (HRIS), and proprietary applications. API and Data Workflow Management: Define data flows, field mappings, status synchronization, authentication requirements, error handling, and configuration options to ensure reliable interoperability between systems. End-to-End Solution Delivery: Partner with engineering teams to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements, break projects into actionable tasks, monitor progress, coordinate delivery, and maintain communication with stakeholders through go-live. Technical Partnership Management: Act as the hands-on technical counterpart for technology partners and platforms, including Bullhorn, Symplr CTM, Workday, and VMS and direct sourcing partners. Solution Scoping and Decision-Making: Evaluate alternative technical approaches, assess trade-offs, recommend practical solutions, and make independent scoping decisions within established product and engineering guidelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Consider the impact of integration decisions on customers, Customer Success, Implementation, engineering capacity, and external partners to ensure solutions are technically sound and operationally sustainable. Pattern Recognition and Standardization: Identify recurring integration challenges and shared requirements across customers, partners, and implementations, developing reusable solutions instead of relying on one-off custom fixes. Documentation and Enablement: Create technical documentation, configuration guides, and implementation resources that enable Customer Success and Implementation teams to resolve common questions and manage routine integrations independently. Product Evolution: Help transform recurring customer-specific solutions into standardized product capabilities, reducing implementation complexity and improving scalability over time. Customer Relationship Management: Communicate technical constraints, delivery expectations, and proposed solutions clearly and empathetically, maintaining customer confidence even when requirements cannot be met exactly as requested. Requirements At least five years of experience in technical product management, integration or solutions architecture, technical implementation, or a related discipline within a software company. Significant experience working directly with customers, with strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to balance technical requirements with customer expectations. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and authentication mechanisms. Ability to independently read and interpret API documentation, test API calls using Postman or similar tools, and evaluate integration feasibility without relying entirely on engineering teams. Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer requests into clear, actionable technical specifications that engineering teams can implement. Strong project execution skills, including requirements definition, task breakdown, delivery tracking, stakeholder communication, and coordination through implementation and go-live. Experience integrating multiple software systems and understanding common integration patterns, data exchange mechanisms, and interoperability challenges across different platforms. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate alternative solutions, assess technical and operational trade-offs, and recommend scalable approaches. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions within defined guidelines. Demonstrated ability to identify recurring problems, recognize underlying patterns, and develop reusable documentation or standardized solutions. A customer-centric mindset, with the emotional intelligence and adaptability needed to navigate complex conversations, manage expectations, and build lasting relationships. Experience in healthcare staffing, background screening, credentialing, or compliance is beneficial but not required. Familiarity with ATS, VMS, HCM, or HRIS platforms, including Bullhorn, Symplr, or Workday, is an advantage. Knowledge of SQL or basic scripting for testing, troubleshooting, and reporting is preferred. Experience deploying AI-powered products, automation features, or intelligent workflows within customer environments is a plus. Willingness and ability to work remotely from the United States while maintaining a schedule aligned with Eastern Time business hours. Benefits Competitive annual base salary: $160,000–$180,000, depending on relevant experience, transferable skills, geographic location, business needs, and market conditions. Fully remote work: Work remotely from anywhere within the United States, subject to the role's requirements and applicable employment arrangements. Eastern Time schedule: A consistent working schedule aligned with Eastern Time. Unlimited paid time off: An unlimited time-off policy designed to encourage rest, personal well-being, and a healthy work-life balance. Healthcare coverage: Medical and dental benefits to support employee health and well-being. Retirement benefits: Access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Resources and support for personal and professional well-being. Meaningful product ownership: The opportunity to take end-to-end responsibility for technical customer solutions and influence product development. AI innovation: Hands-on involvement in deploying vertical AI and automation capabilities within real-world healthcare staffing workflows. Small-team environment: Significant autonomy, close collaboration with product and engineering teams, and the opportunity to help establish scalable integration practices. Long-term growth opportunities: The ability to shape how customer-specific solutions evolve into standardized products and scalable technical capabilities.
