About the role

At KLAS, our mission is to improve healthcare through collaboration, insights, and transparency. As Senior Product Manager, Platform, you will own the strategy and execution for the APIs, data products, and shared capabilities that connect KLAS research to customer workflows and digital experiences. You will work closely with customers, Client Engagement, Engineering, Research, and internal product teams to identify high-value problems, improve adoption, and turn complex data and platform needs into measurable customer and business outcomes. What You’ll Do * Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for KLAS APIs, data products, and shared platform capabilities. * Partner with customers, Client Engagement, Engineering, Research, and internal product teams to identify needs, remove adoption barriers, and prioritize high-value opportunities. * Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics. * Lead customer discovery through interviews, usage data, support trends, prototypes, and pilots to validate solutions before larger investments. * Partner with Engineering to improve data quality, reliability, access, metadata, API compatibility, and integration experiences. * Serve as Product Owner for an Agile team, maintaining a prioritized backlog and delivering focused, incremental releases. * Measure product adoption, integration success, usage, data quality, and customer value; use results to improve or adjust investments. * Communicate roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. What You Bring * 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a B2B SaaS, API, data, or platform product. * Experience guiding a product through discovery, delivery, launch, and ongoing improvement. * Strong customer discovery skills and the ability to use evidence to identify underlying needs and challenge proposed solutions. * Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, and data products, including data models, access controls, reliability, versioning, and compatibility. * Sound prioritization judgment and the ability to define a valuable first release while clearly explaining tradeoffs. * Experience translating customer and business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics. * Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills. * Comfort using AI-enabled tools, product analytics, SQL, API testing tools, or similar methods to investigate problems and validate assumptions. * Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; master’s degree preferred. The salary range for this role starts at $140,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. We offer exceptional benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA with company match, 401K with company match, PTO, and more.    All employees undergo a comprehensive internal education program to gain knowledge of the healthcare information technology industry and KLAS' methodology.
