Senior Product Manager - Code Translation & Developer Tooling

Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Code Translation & Developer Tooling based in United States. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own product strategy and execution for a core outcome area focused on code translation, modernization, prototyping, and portability. You’ll help customers solve complex technical challenges across programming languages, development environments, and hardware targets. Working closely with customers, engineering, UX, and solutions engineering, you’ll turn sophisticated technical capabilities into practical products with measurable customer value. The role requires strong technical curiosity and the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar domains, from language semantics and toolchains to hardware constraints. You’ll begin with a focused charter covering a defined set of pipelines and customer scenarios, with the opportunity to expand your scope over time. This is a growth-oriented product leadership opportunity within a fast-moving organization serving technically demanding industries. \n Accountabilities: Own product strategy and roadmap: Lead your outcome area from discovery through delivery and iteration, translating customer problems into clear priorities and product decisions. Conduct customer discovery: Engage directly with engineers, architects, technical leads, solutions engineers, and other technical stakeholders to understand needs and uncover opportunities. Translate technical complexity: Rapidly build knowledge of unfamiliar technical domains, including programming language semantics, toolchains, hardware constraints, and related development environments. Partner with Engineering: Work closely with engineers to understand technical trade-offs, shape implementation approaches, and make informed prioritization decisions throughout development. Define product direction: Build and maintain a focused roadmap that contributes to the broader platform strategy while balancing customer value, technical complexity, and delivery speed. Drive clear execution: Write concise PRDs and transform ambiguous problems into actionable product plans, prioritizing the smallest valuable solution where appropriate. Communicate product decisions: Represent your outcome area in cross-functional and customer-facing discussions, clearly explaining priorities, decisions, and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences. Expand your charter: Start with a defined subset of pipelines and customer scenarios and progressively take ownership of adjacent areas as you build technical depth and organizational credibility. Requirements Product management experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience building technical software products, with experience owning products from discovery through launch. Technical B2B expertise: Experience working in technical B2B, enterprise, or platform environments where products solve complex problems for sophisticated users. Learning agility: Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand new industries, technologies, and customer domains without requiring extensive prior subject-matter expertise. Customer discovery: Strong user research and customer discovery skills, with the ability to turn insights into meaningful roadmap and prioritization decisions. Technical fluency: Comfortable engaging with concepts such as programming language semantics, developer toolchains, and hardware constraints. MVP mindset: Ability to identify and scope the smallest valuable solution rather than defaulting to a comprehensive or overly complex approach. Adaptability: Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where priorities evolve as new information becomes available. Self-awareness and curiosity: Able to recognize the boundaries of your expertise while consistently learning and building depth in unfamiliar technical domains. Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across executive, technical, and customer audiences. Background check: Must be able to pass a standard background check. Preferred experience: Background in developer tools, platform products, compilers, embedded systems, or other technically sophisticated products is a plus, as is experience with highly technical customers and industries such as automotive, aerospace, semiconductors, kernel development, or regulated and safety-critical environments. Startup experience: Experience taking new products from concept through launch in an early-stage or high-growth environment is also valued.
