We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead and manage our portfolio of new and secondary market server and storage offerings. This individual must bring hands-on experience in the IT hardware space, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, product lifecycles, and customer demands unique to used and refurbished technologies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong blend of technical knowledge and business acumen. This role will be responsible for shaping product strategy, defining multi-year roadmaps, and acting as the product champion across internal teams. You will collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and operations to identify market opportunities, support deal strategies, and guide purchasing decisions for new and used equipment. The pay range for this position is $60,000 – $125,000. This range includes a base salary and commission. The base pay offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications, and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs. What you'll be doing: * Identify and Evaluate Product Opportunities – Analyze industry trends and competitive offerings to determine which OEM products should be added to the portfolio. * Lead Product Line Strategy & Roadmap – Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for assigned product lines, evaluating industry trends, customer demand, competitive offerings, and OEM products to identify portfolio opportunities.  * Develop Product Business Plans – Establish plans to drive product adoption, sales growth, market positioning, and profitability, including strategies to increase demand and strengthen the company’s position in the secondary market.  * Manage Pricing, Purchasing & Profitability – Analyze market trends, demand, competitive pricing, inventory, and product availability to develop pricing and purchasing recommendations. Establish pricing and margin strategies and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.  * Optimize Product & Inventory Strategy – Partner with buyers and suppliers to align purchasing and stocking strategies with market demand, pricing trends, product availability, and profitability objectives. Identify opportunities to optimize inventory and product mix.  * Support Sales with Product Expertise – Serve as a subject-matter expert for assigned product lines, providing sales teams with product knowledge, market insights, competitive positioning, and guidance to develop tailored secondary-market solutions. Assist with product configuration, quoting, and complex customer opportunities.  * Drive Product Launches & Go-to-Market Execution – Coordinate the introduction and commercialization of new products and product lines, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, finance, purchasing, and operations. Develop product positioning, messaging, training, and internal promotional strategies to build awareness and sales traction.  * Develop OEM & Supplier Relationships – Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and other strategic partners to support product availability, pricing, purchasing terms, warranties, and overall product-line objectives.  * Monitor Market & Competitive Landscape – Continuously assess industry trends, customer needs, competitor offerings, pricing, availability, and market conditions to inform product strategy, purchasing, pricing, and sales decisions.  * Manage Product Quality, Content & Support – Ensure assigned products meet company standards and address product quality or support concerns. Maintain accurate product descriptions, pricing, positioning, and cross-sell/up-sell information across relevant systems and sales resources.  * Analyze Product Performance & Drive Continuous Improvement – Monitor sales, margin, inventory, customer feedback, and other product-line performance metrics to identify opportunities and adjust strategy. Develop and execute initiatives to improve sales, margins, product adoption, and overall product-line performance. What we're looking for: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment product management, product marketing, sales, or business development within an IT reseller, ITAD, or remarketing environment. * Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms with OEMs, suppliers, and customers. * Experience in pricing and margin optimization, with the ability to develop strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. * Ability to influence and collaborate across teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership, to achieve business goals. * Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to assess market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies to maximize business impact. * Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on one’s feet and develop creative solutions for product and sales challenges. * Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in creating compelling product messaging and sales enablement materials. * Knowledge of the IT hardware and networking industry, including remarketing, secondary market trends, and resale strategies. * Proven track record of driving sales and product success, with measurable contributions to revenue and margin growth What we offer: * Health insurance and prescription drug coverage * Dental and Vision insurance * Company-paid life insurance and voluntary life options * Company paid short and long-term disability * Critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity insurance * Flexible spending accounts * Pet insurance * Traditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plan with company match * Tuition reimbursement and Employee Assistance Program * Paid vacation, sick/personal days and holidays As a condition of employment, upon offer, candidates will be required to participate in a background check and complete a pre-employment drug screen.
