Why We Need You:
The Product Manager is responsible for delivering product strategies that offer
high customer value and optimize profitable growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Work closely with, mentor Product Analysts and business partners.
* Work effectively with internal and external teams and business partners to
implement product initiatives and effect product changes.
* Responsible for profit/loss and growth and forecasting and budgeting key
metrics for assigned product line(s).
* Influence and educate partners at all levels in key functions regarding
product changes.
* Effectively supervise employees, as assigned.
* Develop and maintain product line(s) to meet consumer needs - perform pricing
analysis and make pricing selects; responsible for the regulatory filing
strategy; ensure assigned products comply with state regulations and
statutes.
* Determine and actively manage 2-5-year strategic product plans.
* Demonstrate behaviors consistent with PEMCO's policies, values, code of
ethics and business conduct.
* Authentically support the PEMCO Brand and constantly are on the lookout for

* Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
* Graduate or other professional degree or equivalent work experience
* 5 years of experience in comparable role, including demonstrated command of
product management principles is required
* Strong understanding of market and key competitors; determine policy and
coverage language strategy; influence underwriting strategy and guidelines
* Prior leadership experience or demonstrated leadership ability
* Associate in Claims (AIC ) designation from AICPCU/IIACertified Insurance
Counselor (CIC)Property/Casualty License
* MS Office: Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is
required
* Analytical and data-driven: Thinks analytically; a structured thinker who can
put complex ideas into clear frameworks; uses data to conduct root cause
analysis and develops high quality, consumable, and consistent metrics that
drive strategic objectives and priorities is required
* Business Environment: Has a thorough understanding of our industry, the
relevant business landscape, trends in growth and insurance environments; the
ability to spot early indicators of change and apply strategies to adapt
quickly is required
* Project Management: Has a proven track record of driving and motivating
cross-functional team members to successfully implement technology or
business project
Compensation:
The pay range for this role is shown below. Compensation decisions are
determined based on an individual’s qualifications, job-related knowledge,
skills, and experience.
* Greater Seattle area target pay range: $154,845 - $189,255. The full pay
range is $129,038 - $215,063.
* Outside Greater Seattle area target pay range: $136,654 - $167,022. The full
pay range is $113,879 - $189,797.
Greater Seattle Area is defined as working within approximately 100 miles of
Seattle.
Outside Greater Seattle is defined as working approximately 100 miles or more
from Seattle.
Benefits:
Regular part-time PEMCO employees working at least 24 hours per week and regular
full-time PEMCO employees are eligible to elect coverage under medical, dental,
and vision plans for themselves and their eligible family members with generous
employer premium cost shares. In addition, as a benefits-eligible employee, you

* covered by employer-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment
insurance policies as well as long- and short-term disability benefit
coverages.
* eligible to participate in PEMCO’s 401(k) plan, which includes a generous
employer match (2 for 1 on the first 6% employee pre-tax and/or Roth
deferral, up to federal maximums).
PEMCO provides the following paid leave programs for benefits-eligible employees
in their first year of PEMCO employment:
* Vacation and eight (8) paid holidays.
* Granted four (4) floating holidays and up to ten (10) days of sick leave
immediately upon hire (pro-rated based on hire date and full-time/part-time
status).
* In addition, PEMCO provides paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, and
employee volunteering in the community.
