Job Description
If you’re looking for an opportunity to grow your career in Product Management,
this role offers the chance to join a globally impactful portfolio, shaping the
future of industrial valve solutions. We are seeking a Product Manager to
develop strategies for new products and solutions within an industry-leading
business unit. In this role, you will identify market opportunities, define
product strategies, develop business cases, and help drive sales and
profitability growth.
Working closely with customers, sales teams, marketing teams, and engineering
teams across the globe, you will identify, define, and develop innovative
product concepts that expand market share and address critical customer needs
within the isolation valve industry.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Monitor and communicate global market dynamics, including segment growth,
emerging opportunities, industry trends, strategic account developments,
competitive intelligence, and competitive product offerings to assess
potential business impact.
* Analyze adjacent market opportunities and potential acquisition targets.
* Conduct market research and voice-of-customer activities to develop market
requirements and customer value propositions for current and future products
and features.
* Travel to customer locations and sales channel partners to gain direct
insight into customer challenges, applications, and business needs.
* Identify target market opportunities and develop compelling business cases to
support investment decisions.
* Develop business plans and define, refine, and maintain product requirements
for new products identified through market research, ensuring alignment with
market needs and effective communication to engineering teams.
* Communicate product vision, target market strategy, and project progress to
stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Leadership to gather
feedback and maintain alignment.
* Develop marketing collateral, product bulletins, and training materials for
newly released products.
* Analyze key business metrics, including bookings, market participation, run
rates, quote conversion rates, and other performance indicators, and
recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
Who You Are:
You anticipate future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough
strategies that create customer value and drive business results. You build
strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions while
balancing multiple priorities and making sense of complex and sometimes
contradictory information. You work collaboratively across organizational
boundaries, building partnerships and fostering an environment where diverse
perspectives contribute to successful outcomes.
For This Role, You Will Need:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Five (5) years or more of experience in marketing, sales, business
development, product management, product marketing, or a related field.
* Experience conducting market research and translating customer insights into
business opportunities and product requirements.
* Experience developing business cases, product strategies, or go-to-market
plans.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact
effectively across technical, commercial, and leadership audiences.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong global working relationships.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
* MBA or advanced business degree.
* Experience in technical sales, market analysis, product management, or
business development within the industrial automation market.
* Knowledge of industrial valve products, applications, customers, and
competitive landscapes.
* Understanding of the commercial and technical applications of isolation
valves or similar industrial products.
* Experience evaluating adjacent market opportunities and acquisition targets.
* Experience developing financial models and business case evaluations.
