About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partnerships Product Manager based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale a strategic external technology partner ecosystem within a global B2B financial technology platform.
You will connect product strategy, technical execution, commercial outcomes, and partner relationships to strengthen the platform’s overall value.
Working across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Compliance, Finance, and go-to-market teams, you will turn complex partnership opportunities into scalable solutions.
You will lead discovery, integration design, governance, onboarding, and ongoing ecosystem optimization.
The role also requires strong judgment around data security, sovereignty, access controls, and third-party dependencies.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, financial services, and strategic partnerships.

Accountabilities
Align partnership initiatives with broader product and platform strategy, ensuring integrations strengthen platform stickiness and avoid fragmented or duplicative experiences.
Build and manage strategic relationships with external technology partners, influencing partner roadmaps, technical priorities, policies, and integration capabilities.
Identify and prioritize partnerships that can increase revenue, expand distribution, improve customer retention, and strengthen platform economics.
Define and track partnership performance through metrics such as partner adoption, attached revenue, co-selling impact, ecosystem usage, and customer retention.
Establish strong data governance, zero-trust security practices, granular access controls, data-sharing protocols, and audit mechanisms across third-party integrations.
Lead product discovery and solution design for strategic partnerships, collaborating with customers, partners, designers, engineers, and product teams from early concepts through implementation.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Legal, Information Security, Compliance, Commercial, and Finance to create scalable partnership and risk-management processes.
Develop repeatable partner onboarding frameworks, including developer portals, sandbox environments, API and SDK documentation, and partner-platform onboarding experiences.
Serve as the primary technical and strategic interface for external partner product and engineering leaders while collaborating with broader partnership teams.
Monitor developments across financial services, wealth technology, and fintech to identify emerging technologies, strategic providers, and co-innovation opportunities.
Advise product teams on build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions, integration feasibility, and ecosystem dependencies for important platform capabilities.
Help establish reliability and operational standards for integrations, including API performance, connector usage, uptime, and onboarding efficiency.
Requirements
5+ years of Product Management experience within B2B SaaS, financial technology, wealth management, banking software, or complex enterprise API platforms.
Strong understanding of modern web architectures, RESTful APIs, webhooks, data schemas, OAuth, SOC 2, and developer ecosystem tooling.
Familiarity with financial data privacy, data sovereignty, secure entitlement frameworks, and related security and governance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving Legal, Security, Finance, Product, Engineering, and go-to-market stakeholders.
Experience negotiating and structuring mutually beneficial commercial and technical arrangements with external partners.
Deep understanding of financial services ecosystems, including areas such as core banking, ledger systems, custodians, market data providers, and KYC/AML platforms.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to evaluate build, buy, and partner alternatives against executive-level product and commercial objectives.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
Strong product discovery, solution design, prioritization, and execution capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments while balancing customer experience, commercial value, technical feasibility, and risk.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
