When you work at Trex, you’re helping to grow and enhance a true original. You
join a company that boldly launched an entire industry… and still leads the way.
The Associate Product Manager, Product Marketing supports the Product Manager or
Senior Product Manager overseeing the assigned product line with competitive
tracking, market share analysis, and opportunity sizing — the analytical
foundation used to make roadmap and investment decisions. In a segment too small
to warrant a dedicated Senior Product Manager, reports directly to the Director,
Product Marketing instead. Does not own P&L or carry independent decision
authority

* Conduct ongoing competitive landscape tracking and category share analysis

* Support analysis and interpretation of consumer and contractor research to
help identify unmet needs for the assigned line
* Maintain data consistency with the methodology and templates set by the
Category Analyst
* Support the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in preparing stage-gate
materials and business case presentations
* Assist in developing trade and promotional plans and tracking in-market
program results
* Support development of creative briefs and business plan materials in
partnership with Brand Management, where applicable
* Participate in the business team cadence, tracking action items and following
up across functions
* Coordinate with Demand Planning on translating roadmap and launch timing into
forecast inputs
* Assist with pricing analysis and P&L modeling support, including for any
partner-facing supply or licensing relationships in the assignment
* Maintain product documentation, technical data sheets, and compliance
