About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Product Manager to support the growth and development of a specialized healthcare and medical device product portfolio. The Associate Product Manager will support product strategy, product marketing, market research, product launches, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management. This position will use market data, customer insights, and business analytics to develop recommendations that support revenue growth, customer adoption, and overall product performance. The role will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Operations, Clinical, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies and successful go-to-market initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, organized, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external healthcare customers. Travel: Approximately 20–30% domestic travel may be required. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Analysis Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, industry developments, and clinical information. Identify market opportunities and recommend strategies for product growth and development. Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and opportunities. Collect and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to identify product challenges and opportunities. Support market research initiatives related to new products, product enhancements, and positioning. Prepare recurring dashboards and reports covering key product and business metrics. Translate market and sales data into actionable recommendations for leadership. Monitor market penetration, customer adoption, product performance, and growth opportunities. Product Planning & Management Support the management of assigned healthcare and medical device product lines throughout the product lifecycle. Serve as a product and market resource for assigned product categories and competitive offerings. Develop and manage project timelines for new product development and product launches. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to support pricing strategy and forecasting. Work with Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams on product planning and commercialization. Coordinate the development of product-related marketing and sales materials. Manage cross-functional projects, timelines, priorities, and deliverables. Support customer research and product feedback initiatives. Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for optimization, growth, and cost improvement. Assist with product lifecycle management, including product enhancements, positioning, and portfolio planning. Support leadership with go-to-market strategy, sales forecasting, business planning, and product strategy. Assist with developing product value propositions, positioning, messaging, and launch strategies. Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations to address specialized customer and product requirements. Product Marketing Develop and support product marketing plans and campaigns designed to increase product awareness, adoption, and demand. Partner with Marketing Communications, Sales Training, Clinical Education, and Creative teams to develop sales tools and educational materials. Develop and deliver product training and presentations for sales teams and other internal audiences. Participate in customer meetings, field visits, product demonstrations, and healthcare presentations. Build and maintain relationships with customers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and other industry stakeholders. Support trade shows, conferences, educational events, customer meetings, and industry programs. Assist with identifying key customers, industry experts, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who can support product adoption. Ensure consistent product messaging across marketing, sales, educational, and customer-facing materials. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Customer Service teams. Communicate project status, business insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership. Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Respond promptly and professionally to business communications and requests. Compliance & Quality Follow applicable company policies, procedures, quality requirements, and healthcare and medical device regulations. Support compliance with applicable FDA, ISO, and industry requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Follow established procedures and work instructions. Ensure product marketing and commercialization activities meet applicable regulatory and quality requirements. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 2–3 years of experience in product management, product marketing, brand management, marketing, or a related business function. Demonstrated experience supporting product launches and commercialization. Strong project management and timeline development skills. Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, or business modeling. Strong customer-facing and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical, clinical, commercial, and non-technical audiences. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical devices, clinical products, or regulated industries. Familiarity with FDA and ISO requirements. Understanding of clinical, healthcare, or reimbursement environments. Experience with CRM systems and market analytics. Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis. Experience developing product training, clinical education, or sales enablement materials. Experience working with cross-functional product development teams. Physical & Work Environment This position may operate in an office, operational, manufacturing, customer, and/or healthcare environment. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, communicate, bend, and occasionally lift or move light materials. May occasionally be required to lift items weighing less than 25 pounds. Ability to travel domestically as required.
