About the Team
You will be a key member of the Supply Chain Product Management team responsible
for delivering technology capabilities that modernize and optimize
Williams-Sonoma's end-to-end supply chain. The team partners closely with
Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Engineering, Architecture,
Analytics, and Technology to deliver scalable product capabilities that improve
operational efficiency, inventory productivity, manufacturing performance, and
customer experience. You will be a key member of the Supply Chain Product
Management team that is responsible for continuous improvement of our supply
chain by focusing on removing friction points for our internal and external
customers by delivering a highly satisfying experience.Â

About the Role:
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is in the business of enhancing the quality of our
customers' lives at home. This critical Principal Product Manager role owns the
product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Williams-Sonoma's Manufacturing
technology domain, supporting our in-house furniture and lighting manufacturing
operations. This leader will define and deliver capabilities that improve
manufacturing planning, production execution, inventory visibility, quality,
scheduling, materials management, shop floor operations, and fulfillment while
enabling scalable growth across our manufacturing network. This role operates
across strategy and execution, partnering with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and
Technology leaders to define product strategy, prioritize investments, and
deliver measurable business outcomes across Williams-Sonoma's manufacturing
network. The right candidate will have deep experience with discrete
manufacturing as well as the associated logistics and transportation activities
and a techno-functional / Product Management background.

Responsibilities
* This role operates across product strategy and execution, partnering with
Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Technology leaders to modernize
manufacturing capabilities and deliver measurable business outcomes across
Williams-Sonoma's manufacturing network.
* Own the Manufacturing product strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities,
identifying opportunities through customer insights, operational data, and
hypothesis-driven product discovery focused on measurable business outcomes.
* Monitor emerging manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, AI, and digital
manufacturing trends, evaluating new technologies and industry practices that
can improve Williams-Sonoma's competitive advantage.
* Define product success metrics and measurement plans tied to manufacturing
efficiency, production throughput, inventory accuracy, schedule adherence,
quality, operational productivity, adoption, and business value realization.
Continuously measure outcomes to guide product investment decisions and
optimization.
* Lead product discovery, business process analysis, and solution definition
for manufacturing capabilities, translating business needs into product
strategy, roadmaps, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and
prioritized Jira backlogs that enable iterative Agile delivery.
* Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled capabilities that improve
manufacturing planning, shop floor productivity, quality, scheduling,
operational efficiency, and business decision making while leveraging
generative AI to improve product discovery, requirements quality,
documentation, and team productivity.
* Serve as the primary product leader across Manufacturing, Supply Chain,
Engineering, Architecture, and Technology teams, aligning stakeholders around
product vision, priorities, delivery, and measurable business value.
* Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to deliver iterative product
capabilities using Agile methodologies while balancing business value,
technical debt, scalability, and long-term platform health.
* Serve as the manufacturing product subject matter expert, leading
cross-functional exploration, making informed product recommendations, and
communicating roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to
business partners and senior Technology leadership.
* Lead organizational readiness and product adoption activities, including
stakeholder alignment, business process design, SOP documentation, training,
UAT, hyper-care, and adoption measurement.
* Ensure manufacturing solutions meet governance, security, audit, licensing,
and compliance requirements while partnering with Internal Audit and
Technology teams to establish appropriate operational controls.

Criteria
* 10 years of Product Management or techno-functional experience supporting
Manufacturing, Supply Chain, ERP, or related enterprise technology platforms.
* Experience with discrete manufacturing, configurable products, production
planning, bills of material, routings, work centers, capacity planning,
quality management, and manufacturing execution preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders,
drive executive alignment, manage competing priorities, and communicate
effectively across executive, operational, and technical audiences without
direct authority.
* Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 Manufacturing,
Supply Chain Management, Production Control, Inventory Management,
Procurement, Warehouse Management, and related manufacturing processes.
* Demonstrated experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and execution for
complex enterprise platforms supporting manufacturing or supply chain
operations.
* Own the product lifecycle from discovery through adoption, continuously
measuring business outcomes and incorporating customer feedback into future
roadmap priorities.
* Experience applying AI, generative AI, machine learning, automation, or
advanced analytics to improve manufacturing operations, product management
practices, or business processes. Demonstrated ability to identify and
deliver AI-enabled business capabilities.
* Experience with related supply chain operations, order management, eCommerce
and finance / accounting processes.
* Experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives from
product discovery through implementation, including business process
redesign, organizational change management, UAT, training, and production
adoption.
* Experience with the process of configurable products as they flow from the
eCommerce customer’s orders through order management (OMS) and to Dynamics
365 for manufacturing and order fulfillment.
* You have a proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts,
manage difficult tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas with partners across the
organization.
* Experience in a large, multi-brand business preferred. Consulting experience
is also desirable.
* Experience creating and managing product backlogs, including writing epics,
features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritizing work within
Jira for Agile software delivery.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to lead and
influence others.
* Bachelor's degree or more in Engineering, Marketing, Computer Science, or a
related field or equivalent work experience.Â
* This role requires being onsite in the WSI manufacturing Claremont, North
Carolina office Monday through Thursday.
* Some travel will be required to other WSI manufacturing and supply chain
locations within the United States. (Manufacturing: Claremont, NC; Tupelo,
MS; Portland, OR)
