This role will define and execute market-driven product strategy across software, hardware-enabled solutions, transaction processing, integrations, and partner ecosystems. Serving as the central bridge among customers, Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations, Software Engineering, Hardware Product Management, global headquarters teams, network certification functions, and strategic partners, the Senior Product Manager will guide investment priorities, commercialization, lifecycle decisions, and measurable business outcomes.
Success requires strong customer discovery, product governance, commercial judgment, and the ability to lead global and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
2. Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
* Own the North American software, payments, and total-solutions portfolio strategy across banking, self-service, retail, and cash automation markets.
* Define product vision, target segments, value propositions, investment priorities, and multi-year roadmaps aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
* Develop business cases and recommendations using customer value, revenue potential, profitability, technical feasibility, cost, risk, and strategic fit.
* Align software roadmaps with Hyosung hardware platforms, transaction processing capabilities, TCR solutions, and future ATM and self-service capabilities.
* Communicate North American requirements and priorities to global product teams and influence global roadmap decisions.
Product Development & Lifecycle
* Translate market and customer needs into clear product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release priorities.
* Partner with Engineering, UX, Quality, Operations, Service, and global teams throughout discovery, development, validation, launch, and post-launch optimization.
* Manage the complete product lifecycle, including introduction, enhancement, versioning, migration, maintenance, and end-of-life planning.
* Establish release, upgrade, and migration strategies for on-premises, cloud, SaaS, API-based, and integrated offerings.
* Balance new capabilities, customer commitments, technical debt, product quality, cybersecurity, and supportability.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market
* Develop commercialization strategies covering market segmentation, pricing, licensing, packaging, positioning, and route to market.
* Lead cross-functional launch readiness with Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations, Training, Support, and partner teams.
* Create sales enablement materials, product messaging, competitive positioning, and tools that support pipeline development and customer adoption.
* Support executive customer meetings, strategic account reviews, RFPs, trade shows, and high-value sales opportunities.
* Partner with Finance and business leaders to support revenue, recurring revenue, margin, and return-on-investment objectives.
Customer Discovery, Adoption & Partner Ecosystem
* Lead Voice of Customer activities with financial institutions, retailers, processors, ATM operators, and strategic partners through interviews, field observation, advisory forums, and usage analysis.
* Validate concepts through prototypes, pilots, design partners, and structured feedback before scaling investment.
* Distinguish customer-specific requests from repeatable market requirements and define scalable solutions.
* Develop strategies for customer onboarding, implementation, adoption, expansion, retention, and migration.
* Manage product relationships and joint roadmaps with processors, ATM and payments networks, fintech firms, ISVs, technology providers, and systems integrators.
* Coordinate software and integration requirements with network certification activities, including Fiserv, FIS, CDS, and other applicable financial or retail networks.
Market Intelligence & Strategy Leadership
* Establish and maintain a formal market intelligence program covering competitor products, announced roadmaps, capabilities, differentiators, pricing signals, and market positioning.
* Monitor emerging banking, fintech, payments, retail technology, cash automation, cloud, API, and self-service trends.

* Support financial institution security reviews, vendor-risk assessments, audits, and certification readiness.
* Identify and communicate product, security, compliance, dependency, and delivery risks, with mitigation and escalation plans.
Product Governance & Performance
* Establish transparent governance and prioritization processes for roadmap, investment, launch, and end-of-life decisions.
* Facilitate recurring portfolio and roadmap reviews with executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
* Define, track, and communicate product KPIs, business outcomes, roadmap progress, dependencies, and risks.
* Use qualitative and quantitative data to recommend whether to accelerate, adjust, pause, or retire initiatives.
* Promote product management standards, templates, and best practices, and mentor product managers or product owners as needed.
