About the role
At BioRender, we’re on a mission to accelerate the world’s ability to learn,
discover, and communicate science — transforming how knowledge is shared and
making science open, collaborative, and easily understandable by all.
We’re shaping the future of science communication and are looking for talented
individuals to help bring this vision to life! 🚀
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Growth team and help
drive adoption and engagement across BioRender's expanding product portfolio.
Growth is a highly cross-functional team that works across much of the BioRender
product, focused on the company's highest-priority growth opportunities. Right
now, that means helping more scientists discover and adopt our new AI and
Graphing capabilities, improving the self-serve user experience, and finding new
opportunities to drive activation, retention, and revenue.
In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, design, data science, and
product leadership to identify growth opportunities, develop and test
hypotheses, and turn insights into measurable product improvements. We're
looking for someone who brings strong product judgment, is comfortable getting
into the data themselves, and can independently drive initiatives from
identifying the problem through execution and measurement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Identify and prioritize growth opportunities: Use product data, user
research, and experimentation to uncover opportunities to improve activation,
engagement, retention, and monetization across BioRender.
* Drive adoption of new products: Develop and test strategies to help users
discover and adopt BioRender's expanding capabilities, including AI-powered
figure creation and scientific graphing.
* Own growth experiments end to end: Form hypotheses, define success metrics,
partner with engineering and design to launch experiments, analyze results,
and make recommendations on what to ship, iterate on, or stop.
* Improve the self-serve user journey: Identify friction in onboarding, product
discovery, and conversion, and develop solutions that help users reach value
faster and adopt more of BioRender.
* Drive measurable business impact: Develop initiatives that improve product
usage, self-serve revenue, and qualified lead generation for our enterprise
business.
* Partner across teams: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data
Science, Marketing, and other teams to align on priorities and deliver
initiatives that support broader company goals.
* Lead execution: Work directly with engineers and designers to define
requirements, prioritize work, manage scope and trade-offs, and keep projects
moving from concept to launch.
* Help shape Growth's roadmap: Bring forward new ideas, size opportunities, and
use data and product judgment to influence where the team invests its time
and resources.
WHAT YOU BRING:
* 5+ years of product management experience, including experience driving
growth through product improvements, ideally in a SaaS or product-led
business.
* Proven track record of shipping product improvements that drove measurable
impact on adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, or revenue.
* Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience analyzing product data to
understand user behavior, identify opportunities, and inform product
decisions.
* Experience designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests or other product
experiments, including defining success metrics and making decisions based on
results.
* Ability to navigate ambiguous business or product problems, prioritize
high-impact initiatives, and translate them into actionable plans.
* Strong execution skills, with experience working directly with engineering
teams to scope, prioritize, and ship product initiatives.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build
alignment across teams, navigate trade-offs, and influence decisions with
data and sound judgment.
Nice to have:
* Experience with AI-powered products, usage-based pricing, or credit-based
monetization.
* Background in life sciences or experience building products for scientists
and researchers.
