About the Role
Own the supply chain product area at a B2B SaaS company serving manufacturing and advanced hardware teams. You will turn complex factory and procurement workflows into practical software that helps customers manage operations more effectively.
What You'll Do
Set and deliver product strategy for procurement, inventory, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.
Visit customer facilities and work with procurement and supply chain leaders to understand operational needs.
Translate supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in partnership with engineering.
Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute hands-on technical work where useful.
Coordinate with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to deliver features and support customer onboarding.
Use operational metrics, product usage, and customer feedback to test assumptions and improve outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Three to ten years of experience across product management, software engineering or hands-on coding, and manufacturing or supply chain operations.
Experience taking software features from customer research through launch.
Strong knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability workflows.
Ability to create functional prototypes and write technical specifications for complex operational problems.
Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems, MES, PLM, and AI-assisted prototyping tools.
Manufacturing or industrial experience, ideally in advanced hardware sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or automotive.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.
Strong cross-functional communication and influence.
