About the role

About the Role Own the supply chain product area at an early-stage manufacturing software company. You will turn complex factory and procurement workflows into practical software that helps industrial customers manage operations more effectively. What You'll Do Set the roadmap and product strategy for procurement, inventory, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities. Visit customer factories and work directly with procurement leads and supply chain leaders to understand operational challenges. Translate supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes, partnering closely with engineering to deliver features. Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code when useful. Align engineering, design, sales, and customer success around feature delivery, onboarding, and measurable customer outcomes. Review inventory metrics, product usage, and customer feedback to test assumptions and improve the product. What We're Looking For Three to ten years of experience spanning product management, manufacturing or supply chain, and hands-on software development or coding. Experience taking product features from research through launch, including writing technical specifications and building functional prototypes. Strong working knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability. Manufacturing or industrial experience, ideally in sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or automotive. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field. Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, MES, PLM, and AI-assisted prototyping tools. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively in fast-moving environments. Compensation & Benefits Base salary is $175,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location Hybrid, based in Los Angeles, California. The role requires working on-site at least three days per week.
