Tech Summary: The Product Manager IV serves as a strategic piece within KP's Digital organization, supporting the evolution of enterprise web and mobile experiences that enable members, patients, consumers, and internal business partners to engage seamlessly across digital channels. This role is responsible for driving product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for shared platform capabilities that power KP's digital ecosystem, ensuring consistency, scalability, accessibility, and operational excellence across consumer-facing experiences. Working at the intersection of business strategy, customer experience, and technology, the Product Manager IV partners closely with stakeholders across Digital Product, Marketing, Experience Design, Analytics, Engineering, Content Management, and Enterprise Programs to identify priorities, define product requirements, and deliver capabilities that advance organizational objectives. The role supports the modernization of digital platforms and shared services while enabling key capabilities such as personalization, experimentation, analytics, content management, customer engagement, and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) adoption. As a product manager, this position is accountable for backlog governance, roadmap development, prioritization frameworks, and value-based decision making to ensure investments align with enterprise goals and customer needs. The Product Manager IV leverages data, customer insights, and business outcomes to inform product strategy, validate opportunities, and drive continuous optimization across KP's web and mobile channels. This role also plays a critical part in supporting enterprise initiatives, including rebranding efforts, customer retention strategies, and Over-Age Dependent programs, by delivering reusable digital capabilities and targeted experiences at scale. Through strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and dependency coordination, the Product Manager IV ensures successful delivery of platform enhancements that improve digital experiences, accelerate innovation, and support KP's long-term digital transformation objectives. Product Management Capability Focus Areas This role demonstrates leadership across the following core product management disciplines: Product Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the strategic direction for enterprise digital platform capabilities and shared services. Roadmap Management: Develop, communicate, and prioritize product roadmaps aligned with business and customer outcomes. Platform Product Management: Manage reusable digital components, foundational services, and modernization initiatives used across web and mobile applications. Customer Experience Optimization: Enable personalization, experimentation, content delivery, and digital engagement capabilities that improve customer experiences. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics, customer insights, performance metrics, and experimentation results to prioritize investments and measure success. Stakeholder Management & Influence: Align diverse business, technology, design, marketing, and operational stakeholders around a common product vision. Agile Product Delivery: Own backlog prioritization, requirements definition, release planning, and product governance across cross-functional teams. Digital Platform Enablement: Support enterprise capabilities including AEP, content management systems, design systems, accessibility standards, and digital experience platforms. Enterprise Program Leadership: Coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple teams, dependencies, and organizational priorities. Operational Excellence & Governance: Establish standards, processes, and measurement frameworks that ensure scalable and sustainable digital product delivery. Job Summary: This senior individual contributor role is primarily responsible for defining product strategy and vision, developing product roadmaps from ideation to launch, and making decisions on new products or enhancements to bring to market. This includes developing product enhancements based on validated learnings, serving as a facilitator for product teams and diverse stakeholder groups across the organization, and collaborating with operations teams and market stakeholders to support product adoption. This role is also responsible for performing internal and external discovery for new and existing products, validating solutions with end users, funneling learnings to product roadmaps, tracking outcomes and key performance indicators, and partnering with product team members to solve user problems. Defines product strategy and vision, and develops product roadmaps from ideation to launch by making decisions on new products or enhancements to bring to market; evaluating potential business process changes, system impacts, and flow concepts to determine the viability of implementing desired enhancements; providing an end-to-end holistic view of how specific business processes and internal system configurations impact the user experience; developing business cases for new products, improvements to existing products, and/or business ventures; defining, managing, and avoiding technical debt as appropriate; developing product enhancements based on validated learnings; ensuring documentation clearly communicates customer/stakeholder needs to the product team; and working with team members to clarify features and requirements as necessary. Serves as a facilitator for the product team and diverse stakeholder groups across the organization throughout the product management life cycle by coordinating the resolution of inter-squad, cross-product and external dependencies, roadblocks and constraints; collaborating with operations teams and market stakeholders to support product adoption; coordinating training efforts to build readiness for production support and operational readiness teams; leading feature demos for stakeholders; providing product expertise, peer training, and consultation as appropriate; and adhering to enterprise compliance standards and managing technology risks appropriately. Performs internal and external discovery for new and existing products by collaborating with business partners to identify needs; identifying marketplace innovation; prototyping and validating with end users with support from UX design and research, engineering, and other stakeholders as appropriate; and funneling learnings to the product roadmap. Tracks outcomes and key performance indicators by defining and tracking KPIs and performance metrics (e.g., speed, quality, etc.); reviewing analytical dashboards and assessing KPI alignment; and developing and/or maintaining ad hoc reports, status updates, and presentation decks for key stakeholders. Partners with product team members to solve user problems by prioritizing the work backlog to ensure balance across new development, non-functional requirements, and technical work (e.g., maintenance, support, technical debt, etc.); and collaborating on competitive and user research/testing, experimentation, and/or design thinking initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Social Science, or related field and minimum five (5) years experience in product management, project management, IT consulting, product development or support, business/system analysis, or a directly related field. Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement. Advanced degrees may be substituted for a portion of the work experience requirements. Minimum two (2) years experience working with agile teams, including familiarity with scrum ceremonies and agile best practices. Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
