ABOUT THE JOB:
At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need
Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products
that affect millions of people every day.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception
to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down
complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing
products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product
Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers,
marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to
the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the
execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging,
promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Google Display Ads powers the free and open internet, enabling advertisers to
reach customers beyond Google owned and operated (O&O) inventory to connect with
90% of the global internet population across millions of websites, videos, CTV
and apps. This campaign flexibility allows advertisers to use Google Display Ads
(GDA) for brand awareness, website traffic, lead generation, and online sales.
In this role, you will lead a highly visible, critical strategic area for the
Google Display Ads business. You’ll shape/develop overall business’ strategy for
inventory quality, balancing high-performance and scale with brand-safe,
“quality” inventory that advertisers would want to serve into. You will have
bidding, invalid traffic (IVT), advertiser controls, reporting, data/signals
components and would cover Google Display Network inventory across all Google
Ads buying doors .
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training.

* Own overall goal, strategy and execution for GDA Inventory, including
defining “high-quality” inventory, strategically solving for inventory we
should cut vs. double down on, and improving advertiser and internal
perception of the inventory GDA serves into.
* Act surgically regarding low-quality inventory we are willing to cut for
long-term gain, while defining clear success metrics for what the business
gains from cutting such inventory.
* Translate ambiguous advertiser problems into clear next steps, into
quantifiable, tangible and concrete solutions.
