About the role
Launched in 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer
experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue,
Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Ford's retail and
commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA
(over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing
leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will
revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact
with them, and the value those vehicles provide.
Â
In this position...Â
Every hour matters when a customer’s vehicle is in the shop. Our Vehicle Care
organization is driving the transformation of Ford’s service experience –
reducing downtime, increasing transparency and powering data-driven solutions
for dealers globally.Â
Â
As a Product Manager, you’ll lead the development of platforms and tools that
help Ford and dealerships diagnose, repair and communicate faster – turning
service from reactive to predictive. You’ll define the product strategy, roadmap
and success metrics for critical experiences leveraged by Ford internal teams
and dealerships every day.Â
Â
You’ll collaborate with engineering, design, data science and business
stakeholders across the globe to deliver products that directly improve dealer
efficiency, and Ford’s brand promise of caring for customer's time.
Â
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do...
* Define the strategic vision and roadmap for dealer facing software products
that enable a faster repair process, seamless communication between dealers
and Ford SMEs, and proactive service experiences.
* Translate dealer and Ford business needs into actionable product
requirements, leading the delivery of high impact tools and platforms that
track unified case management, performance metrics, and SLA adherence.Â
* Drive experimentation, learning and continuous improvement through data
driven decision making and cross functional alignment.
* Balance near term operational needs with long term platform strategy,
ensuring scalability and interoperability across Ford’s global service
ecosystem.Â
* Develop strong working relationships with global teams, understanding nuances
across retail and commercial service operations, systems and products.
* Own key product metrics, track them, and report out to Leadership.
* Represent vehicle care service in executive and cross-functional reviews,
influencing priorities and investment decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
You'll have...
* Bachelor’s Degree required.
* 5+ years of product management experience in the technology industry.
* Proven ability to effectively utilize Jira for agile project management,
including sprint planning, issue tracking, and reporting.
* Domain knowledge across integrated hardware/software products, autonomy, or
consumer-facing digital products. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of the hardware and software systems required to bring consumer
products to market in these sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced
environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data and
industry trends; excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical
skills.
* A deep passion for your customers, their needs, and building/shipping
products to meet these needs.
* Successful product launch experience in a matrix organization and
demonstrated ability to manage products in production and their backlogs.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing stakeholders including
Design and Engineering across the organization.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience creating
Product Requirements Documents.
* Strong data analysis skills.
* Familiarity with Agile Software Methodologies.
* Curiosity around new technologies and a strong desire for continuous
learning.Â
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Â
Even better, you may have...
* 8+ years of software product management experience
* Experience with automotive service operations or dealership software products
* Experience using Figma for collaborative design workflows, including version
control and feedback integration.
