Productivity (EEP) is part of IS&T and delivers some of the most widely used
communication and productivity technology and services across Apple — from tools
that enable collaboration to the support teams that keep Apple's workforce
running. EEP also leads user experience design and research, and manages the
systems behind Apple's original content studios.
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a AI-Driven Product Manager to partner with our stakeholders in
App Store Editorial to deliver internal products and platforms that power their
business operations. In this role, you'll own cross-functional initiatives that
enable our global teams to work more efficiently, scale seamlessly, and deliver
exceptional experiences to our business leaders worldwide. As an AI-Driven
Product Manager, you'll build internal products and platforms to deliver maximum
impact for stakeholder teams. As new business requirements evolve, you will
craft the story, explore alternative solutions and define the vision, strategy,
and roadmap for your portfolio of products. Apple's App Store and Arcade
businesses touch hundreds of millions of lives every day, connecting developers
and players to world-class experiences across every Apple platform, all with
Apple's unwavering commitment to quality, trust, and delight.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience in a product management role leading product development
cycles from concept to launch, with a demonstrated track record of shipping
products at scale. 4+ years of experience working cross-functionally with peer
teams such as software engineering and UX Design. Familiarity with production
accounting, payroll and reporting practices as it pertains to original content
development and production in a studio environment. BS or MS degree in finance,
computer science, information management, or a technical field, or equivalent
experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Expert in identifying complex requirements, aligning them to business
objectives, and building functional engineering requirements. Strong
prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and
programs of varying lengths while managing trade-offs that align strategically to
the vision of your portfolio and the product organization. Advanced skills in
analyzing product data to advise both long-term strategy and short-term
solutions that will delight employees. Proven ability to break down complex
problems into steps that drive agile product development in partnership with UX
and engineering teams. Hands-on experience designing, shipping, or integrating
AI-powered tools and experiences that meaningfully augment employee
productivity. Proficient with visual design and diagramming tools for
wire-framing, product ideation, and communicating concepts effectively with
design and engineering partners. Experience working with vendor-managed products
and roadmaps, including influencing and aligning external partners to internal
priorities. Experience managing and rationalizing a portfolio of products, with
a strong instinct for identifying redundancy, driving consolidation, and
simplifying the number of solutions without sacrificing capability or experience
quality. Keen ability to rally teams and shepherd product development from
discovery to launch with an unparalleled focus on customer experience and
strategy. Highly confident leading teams and driving cross-functional alignment
in ambiguous problem spaces. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to lead with influence and present effectively to senior
leadership. Experience mentoring product managers and contributing to the growth
of the broader product organization. Experience in accounting and payroll
software used by 3rd party production payroll and accounting services provider,
including SmartAccounting, SmartPO, Movie Magic Budgeting, PSL.
