About the role
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
* 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
(e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
* 5 years of experience in people management with technical leadership.
* Experience developing or launching products or technologies within Artificial
Intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience building and launching enterprise products powered by Artificial
Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or Generative AI/LLMs.
* Expertise in workplace productivity tools, or unified communication
platforms.
* Ability to navigate deep technical ambiguity, successfully taking 0-to-1
innovation initiatives to market while optimizing 1-to-N core platforms.
* Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to build alignment across
massive, matrixed organizations (such as Google Workspace).
* Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and
defining success metrics for complex, multi-faceted ecosystems.

US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Define and execute the multi-year product strategy and road map for both the
core Google Chat experience.
* Own the foundational messaging platform. Drive product excellence,
scalability, and a seamless, intuitive user journey for millions of global
enterprise users.
* Steer large, matrixed organizations across Engineering, UX, and DeepMind to
deliver high-quality, safe, and magical AI features.
* Establish success metrics, influence executive leadership, and ensure product
investments align with broader Google Workspace goals to drive growth and
user adoption.
