This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager based in the United States.
This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on shaping and scaling a major B2B SaaS product in the people intelligence and HR technology space.
You will own product strategy, define success metrics, and build the business case for continued investment.
The role combines strategic vision with hands-on product decision-making across complex, AI-enabled workflows.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of target customers, buyers, and market needs to guide product direction.
Working closely with engineering and cross-functional leaders, you’ll prioritize innovation and drive major milestones from concept through delivery.
You’ll operate in a fast-growing, collaborative startup environment where ownership, curiosity, and customer impact are highly valued.
The position offers an opportunity to shape 0-to-1 and 1-to-10 products while helping define the future of AI-powered talent technology.

Accountabilities
Own a major product area, establishing its long-term strategy, defining KPIs, and developing compelling business cases for additional investment.
Develop and maintain the product thesis for the target market, including buyer profiles, customer personas, and their highest-priority needs.
Apply first-principles and innovative product thinking to complex problems, combining quantitative and qualitative insights to make informed decisions.
Partner closely with engineering to prioritize the highest-impact opportunities, resolve blockers, manage trade-offs, and deliver meaningful product milestones.
Lead 0-to-1 and 1-to-10 product initiatives, balancing near-term execution with experimentation and validation of the longer-term product vision.
Design and improve products that automate or enhance complex, manual workflows using Agentic AI, Conversational AI, and other advanced technologies.
Collaborate with marketing, general management, customer support, and other stakeholders to establish alignment around product goals and priorities.
Advocate for customers throughout the product lifecycle and translate market insights into differentiated, high-value experiences.
Drive product choices with a strong focus on measurable customer and business outcomes.
Requirements
7+ years of professional product management experience, ideally including experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Demonstrated success building and scaling products from 0-to-1 and from early-stage concepts into more mature offerings.
Hands-on experience developing products that automate or enhance manual workflows through Agentic AI, Conversational AI, or comparable AI/ML technologies.
Strong background in B2B SaaS and/or B2B product-led growth environments, particularly products supporting multi-step workflows.
Ability to balance immediate execution with the development, testing, and refinement of a compelling long-term product vision.
Strong product strategy, prioritization, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to combine customer research and quantitative data.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to build alignment among engineering, marketing, support, general management, and other stakeholders.
Experience with recruiting, HR, talent technology, or people-focused software is highly desirable.
Demonstrated interest in and practical experience with emerging AI/ML technologies.
Strong ownership mentality, curiosity, adaptability, and comfort making nuanced product decisions in an evolving environment.

Competitive base salary plus performance-based compensation.
Base salary of $190,000–$210,000 per year, depending on geographic market, experience, skills, and location.
Tier One markets, including San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle: $200,000–$210,000 per year.
Other remote U.S. locations: $190,000–$210,000 per year.
