About the role

The Opportunity We're looking for a Principal Product Manager with deep fluency in the AI ecosystem to lead the evolution of our engineering platform. The rapid adoption of AI is fundamentally reshaping how we build, ship, and scale software at Adobe. To keep pace, we are developing our platform into a builder and efficiency platform. It will support thousands of agents and hundreds of developers, PMs, and multi-functional contributors. This leader will own our agentic development platform end-to-end including setting the vision, aligning teams, and driving measurable outcomes for our teams. What you'll Do You will hold primary product responsibility for our agentic developer platform, with accountability across two core areas. Agentic Platform Layer As part of making our engineering teams and partners more productive, we're building an agentic layer for our engineering platform - a single, shared source for agentic workflows, MCP servers, session management, evals, and observability. Identify use cases across engineering teams that can be streamlined with agents and translate those findings into a clear platform roadmap. Align team members and executives on the platform's critical outcomes and represent them as measurable goals and outcomes that keep the team focused. Evangelize the platform by championing next generation AI stand stay ahead of current trends by learning continuously from engineers inside and outside the company. Agentic Development We want to improve our team's productivity with AI which includes a series of tools and patterns to support that including granular agents for specific parts of the development lifecycle, tools for orchestrating and automating development, and interfaces that let partners drive and manage agents at scale. Define and deliver an agentic-first, autonomous development solution that works effectively for engineers today. Develop a long-term vision for translating ideas from any contributor into impactful product features. Ensure a scalable, reliable technical foundation built for a world where agent-generated code is the norm. Iterate on the agentic vision through concrete, measurable improvements to developer efficiency. What you need to succeed Demonstrated proficiency with, and genuine enthusiasm for, AI. You track the technology closely and translate it into practical, strategic product decisions. A track record of motivating change through influence rather than authority alone, across engineering, business, and cross-functional partners. A strong technical foundation. You can engage credibly with engineers on platform architecture, AI/ML concepts, and systems thinking. 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in roles spanning platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products. Hands-on familiarity with agentic tooling and concepts (e.g., LLM-based agents, MCP, evals, observability) is a strong plus.
