The Lead Technical Product Manager, AI Transformation, is responsible for partnering with Corporate Security and Real Estate business partners to define and execute the AI product strategy, roadmap, and technology delivery. This role serves as the bridge between business leaders, technology teams, data scientists, engineers, and operational stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and scale AI-powered solutions that improve safety, operational efficiency, employee experience, workplace operations, and decision-making. The successful candidate will lead the transformation from traditional technology delivery models to AI-enabled business capabilities, leveraging Generative AI, agentic workflows, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-support systems. This leader will drive measurable business outcomes through AI adoption while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI standards. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: Define and maintain a multi-year AI transformation roadmap across Corporate Security and Real Estate technology domains Identify high-value business opportunities where AI can improve operational effectiveness, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enhance employee workplace experience Establish AI product vision, objectives and key results (OKRs), and success metrics aligned to measurable business outcomes Own the AI product portfolio from ideation through deployment and value realization, managing product backlogs and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and scalability Translate business challenges into AI use cases, epics, features, user stories, and actionable implementation plans Partner with engineering, data science, and technical teams to deliver AI-enabled products and services using Agile methodologies Lead discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, predictive insights, intelligent workflows, and digital transformation Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI standards in collaboration with legal, risk, and architecture teams Drive organizational adoption of AI capabilities through structured change management, executive communication, and stakeholder enablement You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Strategy, or Technology Leadership 3+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale technology products and multi-year product roadmaps 3+ years of experience working with Generative AI, Machine Learning, agentic workflows, automation platforms, or data-driven product management 3+ years of experience influencing senior executive leaders and driving large-scale organizational change Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 2+ years of people management experience, including responsibility for leading, coaching, developing, and managing performance Experience in Corporate Security, Physical Security Technology, Real Estate Technology, Workplace Experience, Facility Management, or Enterprise Operations Experience with platforms such as Azure AI, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, analytics platforms, or enterprise workflow automation tools Professional certifications in AI product management or formal background in Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
