Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role Join a small, high-impact team building AI-powered software for government agencies. You will work directly with the founder across product, strategy, and operations, helping public sector organizations work more effectively through better technology. What You'll Do Take ownership of cross-functional initiatives that help the business operate and scale efficiently. Work with the founding team to shape company strategy and growth. Support fundraising and other strategic priorities alongside operational work. Implement AI tools and workflows across the business, including hands-on use of Claude Code. Help develop technology solutions that improve government operations. What We're Looking For At least 4 years of experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or generalist roles. Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed technology startup, ideally from Seed through Series B, and comfort working at a fast pace. Enthusiasm for AI-native workflows and experience learning Claude Code. An undergraduate degree from a top 20 US university. A mission-driven interest in improving the public sector through technology. Government or public sector experience is helpful, including work with city or state agencies or a consulting firm's public sector practice. Applicants should not have a background at a large technology company or prior experience in a chief of staff role. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $130,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location On-site, five days per week in New York, NY.
