Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role Join a small, high-impact founding team building AI-powered technology for state and local government. Working directly with the founder, you will take on a broad mix of strategic and operational work to help the business grow and make public services more effective. What You'll Do Partner with the founder on company strategy, fundraising, and day-to-day operations. Own cross-functional initiatives that help the business run and scale efficiently. Work with the founding team to shape company growth and priorities. Implement modern AI tools and workflows across the business to support a lean, AI-native operating model. Contribute to technology solutions that help government agencies work more effectively. What We're Looking For At least 4 years of experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or generalist roles. Experience in early-stage, venture-backed technology startups, as well as a large technology company. Prior chief of staff experience and an undergraduate degree from a highly selective U.S. university. Enthusiasm for AI-native workflows and hands-on experience with tools such as Claude Code. Interest in improving the public sector through technology; government experience or public sector consulting experience is a plus. Comfort with the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage startup, and authorization to work without visa sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $130,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location On-site in New York, NY, five days per week.
