Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role Own the customer lifecycle for AI voice agents at an AI-focused B2B technology company, from initial deployment through optimization and expansion. This customer-facing role connects customer needs with product development and helps establish operating practices as the function grows. What You'll Do Manage customer relationships end to end, learning each customer's business and scoping and deploying AI voice agents. Optimize agent performance and identify opportunities to expand into additional use cases. Present agent value and return on investment to customer decision-makers, using data to demonstrate business impact. Investigate agent behavior, debug call-level issues, customize conversation flows, and address compliance requirements. Partner with product teams to turn customer feedback and unmet needs into product capabilities. Build playbooks and operating standards for the growing forward-deployed product function. What We're Looking For At least 5 years of product management experience, including substantial direct customer-facing work; 5 to 10 or more years of overall experience is relevant. Startup experience, with the ability to take ownership and make progress in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment. Product management, computer science, or data science background, or comparable technical product depth and intuition. Comfort discussing product concepts and basic debugging, analyzing data, and explaining ROI. Familiarity with AI workflow tools such as Cursor and ChatGPT; experience with SQL and AI coding assistants is useful. B2B SaaS or regulated-industry experience, such as financial services, lending, mortgage, or healthcare, is valuable. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $150,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Location Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with four days per week in the office and Wednesdays remote.
