Raymond West is looking for a driven Dock & Door Product Manager Sales
Specialist to join our Sales team! The Dock & Door Product Manager Sales
Specialist includes direct selling and supports our large general sales team on
dock and door sales.Â

Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position.
Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.
* Business-to-business industrial sales using a consultative,
relationship-based approach.
* Direct Sales to building contractors, architects, and property management
companies
* Training and marketing of the Dock & Door product line to our Core Sales and
Customer Care Manager Team
* Increase Dock Equipment sales through account development and
internal/external networking.
* Develop leads for the Core Sales team for racking, forklifts, and other
products through your contractor relationshipsÂ
* Achieve gross margins and profitability targets for new equipment sales
* Whenever possible, sell maintenance contracts supported by our service
organization
* Grow sales revenue through existing customer base and new account development
* Maintain an awareness of competitive issues and a high level of customer
satisfaction
* Provide accurate and timely information used for managing the business,
including leads, proposals, marketing data, competitive data, sales
forecasts, and expense management
* Team environment. Represent the Company loyally, faithfully, with honesty
and integrity
* When applicable, supervise staff in an assigned area to include planning and
assigning projects/tasks to staff, making hiring, separation, and
disciplinary recommendations, and conducting performance evaluations.
* Ensure training development, coordination of training and identify training
needs for applicable new and existing staff / sales team.
* Provide leadership for assigned staff.
* If staff is assigned, the Dock & Door Manager will manage employee’s Time and
AttendanceÂ
* Manage the operational activities related to the Dock & Door product line
which includes monitoring stock equipment needs.
* Develop, organize, implement, and oversee programs, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure achievement of Dock & Door sales goals
* Render decisions with respect to key department issues impacting overall
service and performance.
* Provide input to senior leadership for annual budgets
* Direct and prepare reports for Storage and Automation Senior leadership
* Participate in Company or Department projectsÂ
* Ensure assigned employees and team are following all Company Policies
* Works closely with other departments and communicate with all levels of
employees, customers, and Manufacturers both verbally and in writing
* Demonstrates drive and initiative
* Maintains a professional attitude in all matters
* Correspond and monitor Vendor performance along with developing new vendors
as needs or opportunities develop
* Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner
* Must be able to manage time efficiently
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Excellent Management skills
* Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
* Must be able to perform duties under minimal supervisionÂ
* Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar softwareÂ
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an
organization.
* Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees,
Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
* Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to
assume more responsibility as required’
* Must be self-motivated and able to manage their time and the time of others
efficiently.
* Dock Equipment Sales Experience or experience Selling Capital equipment to
end users and General Contractors
* Mechanical aptitude
* Ability to understand Architectural Drawings
* Product and Company Training will be provided
* Material handling experience preferred
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school;
or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
* 5 Years minimum sales experience required
Travel Requirement:
* Local travel to customer locations and other Raymond West offices is expected
as a daily requirement.Â
* Overnight travel varies based on customer demands and company/industry
meetings, but the average throughout the year is typically less than 20%
* Must be able to be insured by Raymond West

* Position work environment varies between desk work, attending meetings in
offices and job site walks in either finished industrial buildings or new
construction job sites which may involve walking on loose dirt and gravel

vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to
adjust focus
* Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 poundsÂ
* Must wear personal protective clothing and equipment when required by company
policy or customer job site requirements
Pay Range:
* The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 plus a commission
potential of $50,000 - $100,000. The specific pay offered to a candidate may
be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the
candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug
screen.Â
