Product Manager, Internet Apps

As a member of our Worldwide Product Marketing group, you will represent customers throughout a product line’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product development process. Together with our team, we will work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world! DESCRIPTION At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to focus on Internet apps spanning iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Dynamic, creative people and inspiring, innovative technologies are the norm here. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles, including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and/or partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities Recent experience within the last 3 years in one or more of the following software segments: consumer apps (browsing, communication, social), app frameworks, or consumer OS experiences Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote presentations, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Deep understanding of Internet and/or web technologies Experience building or improving a full product funnel including messaging, onboarding, retention, measurement, and monetization in consumer software Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and driving continuous experimentation Comfort partnering with data science teams to define and instrument product telemetry Experience managing external partnerships Best-in-class oral and written communication skills; the ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners Strong ability to lead through influence, debate and storytelling Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease, with the ability to cut through ambiguity Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level Willingness to travel BS/BA and/or MBA
